DescriptionThe Alphingtones community choir rehearses at the Alphington Community Centre in Kelvin Road, Alphington each Thursday from 8.00pm to 9.30pm (during school terms). New members always welcome for all parts - soprano, alto, tenor and bass, No previous choir experience required, just a love of singing. The Alphingtones offers the chance to sing in a friendly and supportive environment, and the opportunity to perform with the choir at local events and festivals. DescriptionAll male Italian choir formed 1975. It rehearses every Tuesday night at Furlan Club 1 Matisi Street, Thornbury. It was formed as a regional choir from the northeastern part of Italy. It has become the only all male Italian choir in Melbourne and it needs more exposure in the community. Membership 25. We have non-Italians singing in the choir.
